Six months ago I was admitted to hospital with what turned out to be a broken back, one of my vertebrae was described as rubble. I came home form hospital and my husband phoned our county council to see what help would be available. Shortly after that we have a gentlemen called Paul come out to see us and assess my problems. Equipment was ordered from the Red Cross and was delivered (on the day they said!). After that Ms Littler (physio) and Mrs Wagstaff (OT) came out, and kept coming until I was discharged, less than a week ago. Both gave me physical assistance, and hope! They are very professional, but with a pleasant open manner, without their expertise and encouragement I doubt I would be in the position which I am in today, which is good. I did not know what to expect, but what I do know is I could not have asked for more.
