My wife suffered a stroke in July 2007, she was admitted to A&E, SDU and on to The Acute Stroke Ward 7.

I was very worried early on as all I had heard about the NHS in the press was not great.

As things went on with my wife's treatment I could not have asked for better care both medically, personally and just nice people working in the hospital make the patients stay more comfortable with dignity and thoughtfulness.

The staff all the way from Ambulance, A&E, SDU and the Stroke Ward are the greatest people I have been privileged enough to know, they care so much for the patients. I don’t believe I my wife could get better care anywhere.
