About: Causeway Hospital / Fetal Maternal Assessment Unit

(as a service user),

I attended the Fetal Maternal Assessment unit today after being concerned about reduced movements of my baby. The staff member who answered the phone, Caroline, couldn't have been more lovely or reassuring about me wanting to get checked and made me feel like I was doing the right thing. When I got there, I was seen by Roisin, who also couldn't have been more understanding and kind. She stayed with me and chatted whilst reassuring me that things were fine while I was on the CTG. Further reassurance was then given by the Dr and I left feeling like I had been totally understood and had in no way wasted anyone's time. Thank you
