"Let down multiple times"

Horrified with the service 111 provides. Twice ı have called in past 6 months and being extremely let down. The first time my 6 month old was in alot of distress with very lethargic ı phone at 7pm to be told a doctor would phone me back in an hour, there was no phone call and they phone at 4am. Second time ı called my 16month old had a temperature of 40.0° again very lethargic ı phoned to be told somone would call back in an hour. 45 mins they phone for them to use an app to determined wether ı should be going to hospital with my daughter. To be paid that amount of money to use an app, anyone can do that. I will never be phoning 111 again and next time will be taking my daughter straight to a and e. Parents know their children best and all children are diffrent therefore a silly app on ur phone can not be reliable for a professional opinion
