"The telephonist was very efficient"

I registered a positive lateral flow yesterday due to COVID and received a call this morning from Contact Tracing; I don't recall his name but the telephonist was very efficient and gave very clear direction. What I liked was that he told me why he was ringing what questions he was going to ask and then proceeded very naturally into the conversation. It was reassuring that he provided me with dates which matched my own and we also had a bit of a laugh in between. I appreciate the COVID procedures are now moving to be more normal but when the test is positive it is still a shock to the system and it is reassuring to have someone call

Hopefully you are recovering well?

Many people have expressed, like you, that testing positive for covid-19 is "a shock to the system".
