"Urgent care"

About: University Hospital Of North Tees

Was given an appointment by 111 to attend the urgent care centre.

Appointment was several hours late, with no updates as to why. What was frustrating was ‘walk in’s’ been triaged much faster.

When I finally met with the clinician, there was no apology for their tardiness. The clinician was very abrupt, lacked any bedside manner and seemed to have no compassion for ill patients.

The clinician was asking about my medical history, spanning several years and made their frustrations apparent when I could not answer questions about past medications from 15 years ago. Kept repeating the same questions over and over several times.

Finally The clinician, put dye in my eye, to check my eye. But then left me with no tissue or the ability to clean my face, leaving my face dyed orange.
