"The staff are out of this world"

We got called by a consultant and were told just to come into Daisy Hill and go to the sixth floor. It really was not clear.

Daisy ward is phenomenal, my daughter and I could not say a bad word. It is so lovely, with a great view of the city. My daughter loves that it is spotless and so clean. The room we are in is so functional with the ensuite and TV. You can tell everything is modern and new.

My daughter was so anxious coming in due to past experiences but after being here everything has totally eased and she can chill watching TV.

The staff are out of this world, they took their time with us and explained everything to us. I feel like this experience was very personalised, they were not generic with my daughter but tailored her care to her such has calling her by her preferred name. All of them were kind and friendly, and very helpful with everything that was happening. They check on us every so often to ensure that all is okay and we are comfortable. Nothing was a problem for them. Also a positive thing to see was them working as team, you can tell they love their jobs.

Claire the nurse was fantastic she ensured that I was kept fed and watered offering me tea and toast. Also Dr Patrick was good he didn't rush and made my daughter so comfortable with the procedure.
