"The whole experience was first class"

About: Stirling Care Village / Minor injuries unit

(as a service user),

I had something in my eye which caused great discomfort and went to Stirling Minor injury unit to be seen . I was totally unaware that an appointment was required but they let me in and explained next time I would need to pre-book and gave me a leaflet with a QR code explaining the new process .

I asked the timescale for me to be seen and they anticipated up to an hour wait . Five minutes later I was called forward by Nurse Martin. We walked to the treatment room and he introduced himself, was friendly and so pleasant. Nurse Martin did what he needed to do and managed to get what was irritating my eye out . He explained the steps clearly . He was very thorough and did further checks to see the damage using the extensive eye equipment in the room.

The whole experience was first class from volunteers to Reception staff and Martin the nurse. I was in and out within 20 mins . A great service indeed .

Thank you for taking time to give feedback around our minor injury service. I am delighted to hear that you have had a positive experience within the unit. The appointment service cuts down on lengthy waiting times in the unit, if you require to use our services again. Your feedback has been passed onto Martin and the reception team.
