"Caring and compassionate nurses"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Orthoptics

(as a service user),

Thank you to the wonderful, caring and compassionate nurses in the Eye Clinic at Hairmyres Hospital. I was more than anxious attending my appointment knowing I had a detached retina, the two nurses in the clinic recognised this and reassured me. One Nurse went out of her way to come and find me to see how I was getting on and put me at ease. She showed me kindness and compassion. Thank you so much, it meant a lot during a stressful situation.

Dear S37iceU3er,

Thank you for taking the time to recognise the professionalism, care and compassion shown by the nursing staff. This is the standard of care that we aspire to for every person.

This is especially important for reassurance when presenting with such a significant and worrying condition.

It will be my pleasure to share your kind words with the team.

I hope that your treatment was successful and I wish you well with your ongoing recovery and recuperation.

Kind regards

Rick
