During the past 2.5 years Benign Prostate Hyperplasia was progressively obstructing my urinary outflow and leading to recurrent bacterial prostatitis. I had 4-monthly telephone consultations with staff doctors and PSA tests. When my outflow became painfully slow I phoned the consultant He listened and understood and thankfully put me on the "Urgent" list.
I had successful surgery 4 months later.

I am sorry that your BPH necessitated prostate surgery in the end but pleased that your consultant was able to expedite your procedure and that your surgery was successful.
