Anything else?
Stratton Hospital is an exemplar for all that the NHS should be but so often isn't: the nursing staff are genuinely caring, kind and thoughtful and always ready to discuss clinical issues and patient needs, whilst being equally prompt to seek external advice whenver such is necessary. Nothing is too much trouble even when multiple demands arise, and the hospital benefits tremendously from having doctors readily available and its own X-Ray, physio and occupational therapy staff and facilities. Sadly, the whole is let down somewhat by the incomplete facilities (not all showers work and the X-Ray department has not been refurbished) but this is a contractual matter outside the purview of the excellent clinical staff. A final word of praise must go to the catering staff and system - well done!
PS: Your web commendation system is not fully friendly or accurate as the only departments able to be selected are (1) Minor Injuries, and (2) Don't know - whereas my comments refer to the Wards and hospital facilites used by inpatients.
