"Excellent GPs but no access to them"

The GPS and some of the nurses are excellent when you get to see or speak to someone, but is now absolutely impossible to get an appointment or to communicate with them in any way. There are no appointments available online ever, not even weeks in advance, if I try to call I am always in a queue of at least 12 people and never get through, and emails are not answered. I’ve been trying to get a repeat prescription for HRT medicine for four weeks now. I’ve emailed five times and had no response, I’ve called so many times I’ve stopped counting, and there are no appointments available to book. I found out by looking at the NHS app that I had a phone appointment today with something called the Pharmacy Hub at 9am. I presume made in response to my many emails. I have spent the last 5 hours waiting for the call but no one has called. I’d rather they just said ‘Sorry, we can’t provide any service’ rather than force people to waste hours navigating a completely broken system for absolutely no result. I have tried everything and just give up. I’ll buy something online and hope it’s safe.
