I am suffering kidney stone pain since Easter Bank holiday.

Calling for help

Manager
The Abdominal Pain started on Easter bank holiday, I have contracted My GP . He said possibility of kidney stone need to do scan. since then GP did not follow ups for scan. Then I have booked one more appointment week after with other Doctor in same GP practice they suggested walk to A&E and do CT Scan (with Referral letter). At the end of April after spending 8 hours in A&E, it was confirmed in Hillingdon hospital, I am suffering with kidney stone (10mm+ size) by CT scan it should be removed asap and this option was selected the following day by Urological consulting doctor. ESWL was selected. Hillingdon hospital does not have facility for ESWL ( Extracorporal Shockwave Lithotripsy). Urological Doctor, suggested it wont happen in Hillingdon hospital therefore they refer back to Central Middlesex suite and will get date for ESWL treatment from other hospital. (and also they said, if you want to remove stone urgently, then contact a private hospital because waiting is long and urological department only work 9 am to 5 pm.) I feel this is shocking. since then they left on my GP refer and follow up.Next week I have again contact my GP for status update, but they did not do follow up and ask me to take pain killers. I have request again to take action then they send referral to Central Middlesex hospital and told me to wait for call from hospital for appointment. and advised me if you have more pain contract NHS111.
Beginning of May I have contact NHS 111, and explain my situation and my pain, I have been advised to visit central Middlesex hospital in urgent care unit.
I have visited an urgent care unit @ park royal, I have been told, they cannot treat me in ungently I have to wait till my appointment. in my opinion its shocking that NHS 111 don't have clue what service has been offered in hospital and at what time.
It's now further into May I have again chase my GP practice for hospital appointment date, but no luck they don't have clue when I 'll have appointment.
I have been told ESWL its very small treatment and does not involve much effort. but if kidney stone not treated on time it may cause kidney infection or kidney failure. I feel they should look at the risk here.
I am hearing more stories like mine, about dreadful experience with NHS system, how patient need to fight with system to get treated.
