"Fabulous out of hours care"

About: Douglas Street Community Health Clinic NHS 24

(as the patient),

On Monday I had to contact NHS 24 directly due to my own GP surgery not being open. The telephone operator and the charge nurse I spoke to were very kind and lovely. I had a bad chest infection and my care was treated appropriately and effectively and I was passed over to the doctor. This doctor Claire was lovely and was keen to see me down in Douglas Street.

I was seen immediately and had my obs took from a very kind clinical support worker (Kimberley). I was then examined by the doctor and was then sent away with the necessary treatment that has made such a difference already. From phoning NHS 24 to my appointment at OOH it was such a fast process and I feel so lucky to have received such fab care from lovely individuals. I believe all the ladies I spoke to on Monday deserve the recognition because it’s not very often they get it. It certainly made a massive difference to my day!

The staff who managed your care sound fantastic, so well done to them! I'm delighted their caring and prompt service made a massive difference to your day.
