"Made to feel we were their number 1 priority"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

I attended the A&E in April with my 2 year old son after he fell and cut his head. From the minute of attending the department until we left after a very quick 3.5 hours the staff we brilliant with my son and me.

All the staff from the receptionist to the doctor that attended to us we very caring and took time with my son. I can't thank them enough. There was so much care. The Department was busy but they all made us feel as if we were their number 1 priority. Such a brilliant team thank you again.

Dear gmac85

Many thanks for sharing your feedback on the treatment you and your wee boy experienced while attending A & E, University Hospital Hairmyres via Care Opinion.

You must have been so worried, I am so happy our staff were able to help your son and help put him at ease. This is the treatment our staff work so hard to maintain.

I hope your wee boy will recover from his fall soon and be back to being a 2 year old.

I will certainly share your feedback with all staff within the A & E unit.

Best wishes

Jean
