"Downe Urgent Care dept"

I attended the Urgent Care unit in the Downe a few weeks ago with persistent headaches. The care was exceptional. I was quickly seen by Dr  Johnston who was extremely knowledgeable, empathic and had a great sense of humour. The nurses were busy but each one on passing said hello and the Sister (Christine) took time to introduce herself. Particular thanks to nurses Alfreda and Linda for keeping me informed throughout my visit and making me feel nothing was a bother. Also a big thanks to Teresa at reception for the offer of tea and biscuits.  Within a few hours, I  had a CT scan (the radiology staff were friendly and professional)  and discharged with my plan of care.  Dr Johnston also took time out to contact me later in the day and once again advise and reassure me.  A big thank you to all the staff that I encountered during my visit… keep up the excellent service you provide.  It’s just all the little extra things that the staff do without thinking that makes the biggest difference.
