"Only good things to say about their experience"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I am writing this feedback to show how much your care and support was greatly appreciated to one of my residents from our Care Home who recently attended accident and emergency.

I wanted to share how important it is to recognise all the hard work you do. Firstly from the ambulance men who attended in the first instance, the speedy response from the time the initial 999 call was made, the care , patience and understanding at this time was greatly appreciated and reassuring to all.

Secondly to all the staff in the emergency department, I can only say that I  was very impressed by all your support given to my staff member and resident attending A&E. I was kept fully up to date with what was happening each time I called even being able to speak to the staff member over the telephone. Time was taken to speak to me even when I knew they were really busy. They ensured that they both had lunch and were so very kind to them both. I only have good things to say about their experience attending Wishaw General. Thank You very much for your care.

Dear IndigoKT

Thankyou for taking the time to share your feedback here on CareOpinion. I am so sorry to hear that one of your residents required the use of our Services. I hope that they are feeling better.

It is so kind of you to say these wonderful things about our staff and the wonderful care given by our colleagues in the wider NHS and I would be more than happy to ensure that your kind words get passed on to our crew. In order to do this I would just need a few details. If you want this to happen would you be able to email sas.feedback@nhs.scot and include your residents name as well as the date/time and location that we attended them? This would allow us to locate the call and identify the staff. If you would also be so kind as to include your CareOpinion username to allow the members of my team to trace back to this feedback.

I wish you all the very best and thanks again.

Kind Regards

Alan

Good morning indigokt66

Thank you for sharing the treatment and care given to both your resident and staff member while attending A & E of University Hospital Wishaw and also the treatment they received from the Scottish Ambulance Service.

I am delighted their experience was so positive; this is the Person Centred Care approach our staff strive to maintain.

It will make me so happy to share your feedback which no doubt will make their day.

Thank you again and best wishes to all.

Kind regards

Jean
