"Treated with the utmost care and respect."

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Day Surgery

(as a service user),

I was referred for a hysteroscopy, D&C and polypectomy. The hospital was calm, clean and the staff were helpful, friendly and caring. I was kept informed at every stage as to what was happening next, and was treated with the utmost care and respect.

The procedure went very smoothly. I was awake from the general anaesthetic after one hour, and was kept for observation for another two hours or so. The nursing staff regularly checked my blood pressure and temperature, arranged painkillers for me, and brought me tea and toast. I felt really well looked after and genuinely and professionally cared for.

Dear Alaska 999,

Thank you for sharing your positive experience on care opinion when you were in theatre and day surgery at Queen Margaret Hospital.

It is good to read that you were happy with the level of care from the professional staff and that everything else worked well for you as well.

The teams will be pleased to receive this feedback.

Regards Arlene
