"What a great positive experience"

About: South West Acute Hospital / Outpatient clinics

(as a parent/guardian),

My son had a recent outpatient appointment at SWAH which required blood samples as well. He was really nervous from a previous experience but I have to say the care he received this time was 1st class. The member of staff really went out of her way to make him feel comfortable and at ease. She spoke to him and explained everything so he understood.

What a great positive experience for him and he said that he shouldn't have been worrying as it wasn't nearly as bad as the last time.  I had one much more relaxed young man.

Well done to you all for helping my son through what could have been another anxious time.
