"Made to feel that nothing was a problem"

About: Lanarkshire Community Services / Continence Services

(as the patient),

After major surgery I found myself extremely incontinent. This led to embarrassment and nowhere to turn to. Fortunately I had a visit from Rachael, the nurse, and Krystle from the unit, and I have to say that they allayed any fears I might have.  They made me feel that this was normal and not to worry .

Krystle has offered me a number of services which I never knew existed and would make my life easier.  She made me feel that nothing was a problem and couldn’t have been more helpful.  My grateful thanks to both ladies .
