"From start to finish I have been delighted with every aspect of my care."

About: Gartnavel General Hospital / Brownlee Centre Gartnavel General Hospital / Diabetes Clinic/Centre General practices in Greater Glasgow & Clyde Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Neurosurgery (Ward 64 – 66) Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Oral Surgery & Medicine ( Wards 63)

(as the patient),

MAXILLOFACIAL REFERRAL QEUH

Initial consultation approximately 2 weeks after referral. Blood tests and CT scan done at that appointment. Review 1 week later. Admission for surgery approximately 2 weeks after review. (Non urgent case).

Whilst in hospital I experienced excellent care and attention. Ward 62 staff were fantastic. Ward very clean. Food good. Well equipped. The surgery (Mr Ansel and colleagues) went well, recovery uneventful. No bruising swelling or pain.

From start to finish I have been delighted with every aspect of my care.

I constantly hear criticism of NHS.  My own experiences at QEUH, and at Brownlee (Gartnavel), Diabetic Dept (Gartnavel) and my GP Surgery (Anniesland Medical Centre ) have always been First Class in every respect.
