About: NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde / Covid Vaccination Programme

(as a parent/guardian),

Our Son had a covid appointment at Wallacewell, Barmulloch Centre this afternoon.

We would like to say a big thank you to the Nurses there, especially Nurse Jamie Lee and Nurse Taylor & the vaccinators who all tried to calm our son down.

They were fantastic throughout a traumatic experience for our son.  We got there eventually & after we left he was boasting to the children we saw that he'd had his jag & it wasn’t sore 👍

As a fellow worker in NHSGGC we really appreciate the staff’ support today as it was very stressful for Mum & Dad today as well.

Thanks so much for sharing your feedback on Care Opinion. I can understand that your son was feeling apprehensive about his jag but it’s great to read how the staff, especially Jamie Lee and Nurse Taylor, provided reassurance and helped your son. That’s good that he left boasting to the other children and I’m sure that Mum and Dad are relieved that it’s over. I will make sure that we forward your feedback to the staff at the Centre.
