About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Orthopaedics

(as a relative),

Following on from a previous post in which I was unhappy with the A&E department, I feel I also have to give credit where it is due.

My Granny was eventually moved to a medical bed on the orthopedics ward, and she was delighted with the care she received there. In particular nurse Emma, a male nurse, Stephen (she thinks) and an international nurse whose name she can not remember.
I rang this ward a few times for updates during her stay and everyone I spoke to who had looked after Granny were kind and helpful. I even got a call back from a Dr (SHO Victoria) who explained all that had been investigated and her diagnosis.
On this ward she was attended to well, had some craic and chat with the nurses and found the ward quiet, clean and peaceful.

Thank you very much for your very kind feedback about orthopedic ward. The staff work very hard every day to ensure the best possible care. I will pass on your positive feedback to the ward sisters and the staff. Thank you again
