Last month I was admitted to ward 6 (which was temporarily located in the old ward 5), Dr Gray's hospital, Elgin.
All of the medical and auxiliary staff were excellent - I couldn't have asked for any better care.
Although all of the staff were wonderful, I would like to give a special mention to some of them, who I thought were 'extra special' and went out of their way to ensure their patients were comfortable throughout their stay on the ward. The care they provided often involved them staying on to finish tasks, long after their shift had finished.
These 'extra-special ' staff members were -
☆ Dr Tom
☆ Staff Nurses - Meghan, Naomi and Alanah, and auxiliary Nurse - Nikki
I feel that far too many patients are willing to complain when things don't go their way but few take the time to give praise to the staff for the 'good' care they receive which is a great shame.
I would be grateful if you could pass on my thanks to the sister in charge of ward 6 and to all of the hard working members of her excellent team.
"Excellent hard working team"
