"Lack of concern for relatives"

About: Northwick Park Hospital / General Medicine

(as a relative),

 My wife was taken to A & E last Monday and I believe put into Jonson ward.  As her husband I feel so angry and useless. For three days I have been trying to get some information and no matter what I have tried, nobody picks up the phone or it’s continuously engaged. All I want to know is what’s happening with my wife . My next course of action is to come to the hospital and to do some shouting and screaming because staying calm and polite doesn’t seem to get you anywhere.

I am very sorry for the difficulty you are having getting through to Jonson ward to find out about your wife.

Please email in to our PALS team at LNWH-tr.PALS@nhs.net your wife's details as well as your contact details, and we will ensure that someone contacts you in order to give you an update.

My apologies again that you have not been able to get through to the ward for 3 days, and I hope that the news about your wife is positive
