"Helpful staff for radiology appointment"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Radiology (X-rays and Scans)

(as a relative),

Arrived in car park to find no spaces.  Went to take my 93 year old father out of car to sit at back doors/entrance, when we were approached by a young man called Armani (?).  He asked if we had a blue disabled badge, which we did.  He kindly removed some cones to let us into a disability space. He also took over a wheelchair and pushed my dad to the orange ward.  The staff in the radiology ward were caring and friendly and made my anxious father relax.

Well done to the nurses and Armani.  Thank you.

Dear Gauld/Anderson,

Thank you so much for sharing this with us. The door staff often miss out on thank you's so this means a lot. It’s lovely to hear Armani took the time to approach you and made your visit to ARI a little less stressful. I’ll make sure he receives this feedback so he knows the difference he made.

I’m sure my radiology colleagues will be in touch soon, but I'm glad to hear their caring and friendly manner helped your father feel relaxed during his visit to the ward.
