My granddad got admitted to ward 52 a couple of days ago. But the stupid rules and regulations, stopped us from visiting. The opening times are from 2.30pm to 4pm. Not sure about the night time hours. We couldn't visit during 2.30pm and 4pm as we couldn't get any transport, so we contacted the hospital asking if we could visit at 12 for 30 minutes and the staff at the reception were unreal.

Thank you for providing feedback on your grandad's recent admission to Ward 52 at Darlington Memorial Hospital.

I am very sorry to hear that you and your family have experienced difficulties when trying to visit your grandad, due to the ward visiting times.

I am unsure whether your grandad is still an inpatient but, if he is, I would encourage you to contact the ward directly on either 01325 743528 or 01325 743526, to discuss the difficulties you are having.
