"Underwhelming experience - seemingly uninterested…"

I went here to have a knee injury assessed. Open until 8pm according to website. Don't be fooled!

Firstly, the lady on reception was more interested in looking at phone and talking to her colleague, for quite some time before acknowledging my presence.

I was quickly assessed by Triage who asked if I had fallen (?). "No", I advised, but I have injured my knee (right knee twice size of left knee and incredibly painful to walk on.

Advised that they were closing up - it was 7:20pm...not 8:00pm, to com back in the morning or go to GP in the morning.

Did not even take my details down and appeared totally uninterested or willing to provide any examination or help.

Yes, NHS staff have been and still are under pressure, but the impression taken away is that I was a mere annoyance.

If you are closing down at 7:20pm, do not advertise you are open until 8:00pm.

As an update, A & E the following day advised of a possible torn meniscus and ligament damage - but this is not really injured enough for the Urgent Care centre at Bracknell.

Referral to a knee clinic and an MRI by A & E who were horrified and were quite horrified to learn about the indifference of the Bracknell Urgent Care Centre.

Cannot recommend.
