"Staff went the extra mile to help"

About: Belfast City Hospital / Radiotherapy

(as a service user),

I developed a problem with my skin 6 weeks after radiotherapy treatment and spoke with the radiotherapy nursing team in the Cancer Centre.

Although they generally discharge after 6 weeks post radiotherapy they went the extra mile to help me get my skin sorted. The staff were extremely helpful and caring especially the Nurse in Charge - Alison.

It is thanks to their care and attention that my skin is well on the way to being back to normal and I feel they listened to my concerns and acted upon them in a professional and timely manner.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of the radiotherapy nursing team. It is great to hear that the care you received was timely, professional caring and helpful.

Alison and her team were delighted to receive this feedback as they aim to provide this standard of care everyday.
