About: Musgrove Park Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

I went to AMU at Musgrove Park Hospital about 09:30 on a Sunday morning. I was thoroughly looked after from the moment I spoke to the receptionist through to my discharge about 5hrs later. I was kept fully informed of what was happening throughout and nothing was too much trouble. Even making me some toast as I hadn’t had a chance to have breakfast!

The unit was incredibly busy & not without its challenges when I was in, but everyone remained professional & showed exceptional care.

Specifically I would like to mention Juliette, Claire & Valda. Apologies if I have misspelt anyone’s name. I am in awe of you & your continued patience after all that came your way. I was looked after brilliantly & words cannot express what an amazing job I think you do.

Thank you for your lovely feedback. I will share this with the AMU team, who will really appreciate it. It is currently extremely busy, providing us with additional challenges so hearing that patients are finding their admission to be a positive experience helps to keep up our spirits and maintain morale.
