Called the Early pregnancy unit in the morning about cramping and red spotting, no one called me back, so called again in the afternoon, was just told I'm on the list and someone will call at which point I went to A&E in agonising pain. Finally got a call at 4.30 saying "but you had a scan a week ago and it was fine", implying nothing can be wrong a week later, without any support on how to manage the pain and what's likely to happen. Then within the hour I had a miscarriage in the waiting room of A&E. The next day, I was asked to go to EPU for a scan and blood test and waited in pain sitting on a chair from 11.30am to 4pm without any indication of how long it will take, what I'm waiting for, who I'm waiting to speak to.... The blood test wasn't done because you close at 4pm and I had to return the next day again... I don't understand why you can't give out rough appointment times so people don't have to sit in pain and wait all day, trying not to cry in front of everyone else.
