"Amazing nurses"

About: Antrim Area Hospital / The Programmed Treatment Unit ( PTU) Royal Victoria Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as a service user),

I had a recent diagnosis of IBD in 2019 and 2021 I was having a series of flare ups and trialing different treatment options. Every time I was having a flare up the team of IBD nurses were on the other side of the phone and provided reassurance and ensured I received the follow up needed. Dr Patterson’s medical team have also been very good and informative and ensure regular follow up. Part of my treatment involved infusions at PTU until I could change to injections and all the staff in PTU were also incredible.
