"UTC Resembled Third World Waiting Area"

111 advised me to get my very high blood pressure checked out and to go to a main hospital such as Grimsby not Louth. I arrived in the UTC to find a cold narrow corridor with a filled few seats. Thinking it was an overflow waiting area I walked to the end expecting a reception to book in at but there was just a barrier stating Do Not Enter and no reception or anyone to advise me what to do. I asked the people sitting on the seats what I should do and they said to go and just wait at the end of the queue. However the end of the queue was outside in freezing temperatures and due to my disability and there were no seats in this area, I could not stand and no one in front of me offered to give up their seat as it meant they lost their place in the queue. I have never been anywhere so poorly prepared, cold and unwelcoming and really distressed as feeling quite ill with my condition. It is a 2 hour round trip from home and I can only get in the evening when someone can drive me there, but I really couldn't face another visit to encounter the same problems. I am so worried now about my health condition. It really is a disgrace
