"Not listened to"

About: New Stobhill Hospital / Minor Injuries Unit

(as a service user),

I found the nurse at Stobhill minor injuries very abrupt and wouldn’t listen fully to the injury I sustained. I have severe other medical conditions that affects me in different ways. The nurse wouldn’t allow me to explain fully what my health issues were, and that was why my injury had affected me. The nurse claimed they has done this job for over 20 years. They would listen to how my condition affects me as it is complicated. I certainly won’t go back again.

Dear Falcon64

I am sorry to read about your experience at the Minor Injuries Unit and that you were left feeling disappointed and un-listened to. This is certainly not the standard of care we strive to deliver. Please be assured that this will be discussed with the Team.

I apologise for your experience and thank you for your time and feedback.

Regards

John
