"Very helpful experience at a difficult time"

Feeling that something was 'not quite right' with my husband (72) for some time, but unsure what, I booked an appointment for him to see the Practice Nurse. She listened carefully to both my and my husband's concerns and then quickly referred us to one of the GPs. During the telephone consultation the following week, the GP again listened carefully to our concerns, then booked a face-to-face appointment with her. Things then happened quickly, and we were referred to Kings College Hospital Neurology Department. Following tests and scans, my husband's diagnosis was confirmed, and treatment started. He is responding well and I know without a doubt that the quick response from the Surgery Nurse and GP, things could have been much worse for my husband. We both cannot thank them enough for their kindness and their professional help. We have full confidence and trust in them.
