"Amazing Service From Healthy Families Team"

About: Children & younger people's services / Newark and Sherwood Health Family Team

(as a parent/guardian),

During early 2022 our family was put forth to the healthy families team due to my son having 12 weeks gestation of chemotherapy and required specialist support, now a toddler. A wonderful female named Laura at the Ollerton Health Centre, showed so much care, devotion and acted swiftly in seeking this support for my son.

Laura, with such skill and professionalism, contacted me within just a few days after the referral and has supported us immensely through this process. Within a month we where seen by a specialist and my son is now receiving the best treatment for his disabilities. We are over the moon, Laura acted so swiftly, our family are so very thankful for all the support we have received from Laura.

It is so warming to know, there really are genuine professionals who truly want to support those with mental health disabilities, in today's society.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your kind words in relation to the help and support received from Newark & Sherwood HFT, especially Laura.

It sounds like you have been through a very tricky time and I do hope that your son is doing well and doing all the things a toddler enjoys doing.

The Healthy Family Team always strive to provide a professional service to our clients and your comments will definitely bring a smile to their faces.
