"Treated with respect and excellent care"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Ear, Nose & Throat / Audiology Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Short Stay Surgery Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Urology (Bladder and Urinary problems)

(as the patient),

Admitted electively for surgery - admitted whilst surgical drain was still filling for 4 days. Spent time on ward 301, 209 and 210.

I was treated with respect and excellent care and never felt forgotten about on any of the wards. Nurses were excellent and were friendly and kind. Medical staff were fantastic and I’m very grateful for all. Cheers!

Dear Jr204

This is lovely to hear and thank you so much for posting about your experience. Every patient is important to us and as you so rightly point out, a friendly word and genuine kindness can make a difficult experience so much easier to bear.

Get well soon and thank you again.
