"Emergency call 999"

About: Torbay Hospital

Anything else?

I was feeling really poorly and my Son called 999 and the first medic to arrive was calm cool and collected. After the first talk they called in the Ambulance and then two more medics arrived and they were fantastic, I was taken to the ambulande and more test were being made and here again everybody was wonderful.. My mind was full of the fact, that I had two sisters die of a heart attack, who were both younger than me, but the crew were absolutely amazing. I was taken to Torbay hospital and here again once inside there was the usual lovely people. I had to wait a while, but the ambulance crew stayed with me until I was handed over to the hospital staff and here again everybody were marvellous. I was then taken to a cubicle and was examined by a very nice Dr who pronounced all was well and that I could go home. I did feel I had wasted their time, but was told I had done the right thing and to let them know if it returned. Gladly I am fine once again and would like to thank everyboby concerned for all the attention paid to me and also for making me feel not such a nuisance after all. Sincerely June Richards
