My family were all devastated when my mum was diagnosed with a brain tumour in feb 2012.. My Mum was transferred to the southern general from our local hospital.
I can't sing their praises high enough of the care she was given. All the staff were very professional but more important to us they treated my mum as an individual and gave us some comfort that she was being well looked after.
Mr Mathieson the consultant/surgeon was with us every step of the way and made a very stressful time less difficult as he was always there to answer any questions. I'm happy to say my mum had her operation to remove tumour which was successful.
We are looking forward to celebrate her 75th birthday next week. It has been a very stressful time but has warmed our hearts of the goodness in others. Wish u all the best!
