"Found staff dismissive"

The reception staff are incredibly rude and dismissive in my experience. I try to avoid seeing a doctor as much as I can mainly because of this. 

All my symptoms completely dismissed by the doctor. Symptoms not being recorded, samples not submitted, trying to put words in my mouth and suggest what I should say rather than just listening. In the end they said its all in my head I'm just stressed from work. I absolutely love my job and I am incredibly happy with my position. Every job has its stresses but mine do not come into my personal life. In the end i had to resort to pages and discussions online, and any online medical websites I could find to diagnose myself and to help myself!

This surgery failed to identify that I had an infected appendix which I struggled with for over 12 months, which in the end required emergency surgery and a trip and stay at A&E, all because my symptoms yet again were brushed off as being in my head because of my previous medical record which included PTSD, Anxiety and Depression from a sexual assault as a minor.

This surgery has lost my medical records and transferred them to a Sexual Health Clinic. A formal investigation was launched by the NHS as they refused to help me and an incredibly kind woman from 111 called up the surgery with me on hold to sort this out. In the investigation of course the practice sided with their staff.

I found this an incredibly toxic place to be. Not listened to, made me feel worthless and like just another burden for the day.
