Today I went for an MRI at antrim hospital- it wasn’t until I was sitting in the waiting room drinking contrast that I realised the enormity of the experience.. of how the results could completely change your life… through my crazy thoughts the fabulous radiographers voice came through. Maybe she saw the fear in my face…
Maybe she is always reassuring but she instantly started to reassure me and give me an outline of what was going to happen. Even in the scary cold room she made a point of checking with me and her colleague was equally as caring. I am very grateful.
I also want to acknowledge the staff at the coffee bar- I was still a bit anxious after the test and decided to get a coffee. The lady at the coffee bar was so very friendly and a chat with her about the weather and the price of diesel was enough to settle my mind- for this I am also equally as grateful
… now just to wait for results.
"She instantly started to reassure me"
