"My husband's care"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Endoscopy

(as a relative),

I am very concerned about my husband who was admitted to University Hospital Wishaw 10 days ago with blood loss.

On admission his haemoglobin was 7. He has received no investigation to identify where he's bleeding from as yet. His haemoglobin dropped further one point and he's about to receive his 7th unit of blood products this evening. He has been booked to have a gastroscopy which has been cancelled 3 times to my knowledge. He also has other health issues and I'm becoming increasingly worried as to how this is affecting him overall

Due to current Covid guidelines visiting is not permitted so I haven't been able to physically see him while he's been in. I am becoming increasingly worried about him and what its doing to his mental health as it's definitely affecting mine. I'm not sleeping, my appetite and concentration are suffering and I'm becoming anxious.

Can you please help me?
