"Wonderful care "

About: Lincoln County Hospital

I was scheduled for colorectal surgery on 21st March and the procedure went ahead as scheduled. The anaesthetists settled me and prepared me for the operation, which was completed late that evening. I was transferred to a ward where I was made comfortable and cared for with great compassion and skill. Such was the care that I was able to go home on the Thursday. A slight hiccup on the day of my release meant my medication had gone missing. A true hero of a nurse in the surgical admissions lounge went more than the extra mile and secured the correct medication, thus saving me a measure of stress that I did not need. Bless you all.
