"My mum"

About: Outpatients / Peter Brunt Centre

(as a relative),

We kindly donated a cheque to Aberdeen Liver Fund to thank them for their continuing dedicated care to liver transplant patients.

My mum celebrates 5 year's post transplant in May. She has received optimal care from Dr English and teams. Our support group provides buddies for transplant recipients and delivers care packages to those on the waiting list or post transplant illness care packages. Dr English has called mum regularly during the pandemic. She is calm, kind, reassures us and is an asset to NHS Grampian.

Hello Trudi,

Thank you for your kind words about the liver service within ARI and your generous donation. I have shared your compliment with the team and Dr English, who sends her gratitude.

It's great to hear how well people are after treatment and that your mum is now 5 years post transplant and continues to do well.

Thank you, Lesley.
