"Reflection on Spring 2021"

About: St Lukes Hospice

(as a relative),

Nearly a year has  gone by and a  time to reflect on the amazing team at St Lukes Hospice.

Spring is here and my thoughts are with the team that cared for my late mother who overlooked the lovely hospice garden that was blooming with daffodils in April 2021.

Covid was still here and we were just coming out of another lockdown and restrictions were still in place with visiting.

Dr Daniels- A special thank you to the medical team that cared for mum- simple and thoughtful conversations made things so much easier for us all as a family.
A special thanks to Rachel and her nursing team for the nursing care.

Stella and the Wellbeing  team - thanks for supporting all the family  with keeping in touch in such difficult and sad times.

All the care and compassion showed by all the team made us know that mum had the.best care and all our family were supported.

A smile, lovely surroundings. compassionate care, tea and a  chat  makes all the difference.

Thank you everyone in the hospice.

Dear Family Member,

Thank- you so much for your lovely feedback regarding your mother's care last Spring 2021 on Care Opinion.

It is our privilege to be able to provide you all with kindness, empathy and support to you all.

We all appreciate your very kind words.

We are pleased that all the teams working in the inpatient unit were able to support you all at this difficult time.

Our beautiful hospice gardens continue to be maintained by our amazing team of volunteers.

I will ensure that this is shared with all the teams at St Lukes Hospice you mentioned.
