"My treatment has been incredible"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Early Pregnancy Assessment Service

(as the patient),

I've been attending Hairmyres since 27+5 weeks due to my baby measuring small and more recently reduced fetal movements.

The care and compassion shown from the staff here has been exceptional. All of the girls have been amazing with me. I've been very anxious throughout my pregnancy due to a previous loss and feel I've struggled with anxiety this full pregnancy.

I explained this to one of the girls Lynsey who sat with myself and my husband and explained everything to me, breaking down step by step what's going on and going into depth about the movements and what I should expect to feel etc.

I've an anterior placenta and never felt a lot of movement. She was so reassuring and understanding. The sonographer each week Angie has also been incredible at reassuring me and so compassionate.

They really have gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I felt I had to come on and give the staff at Hairmyres a glowing review. I'm coming to the end of my pregnancy.

The services they supply and treatment I've been given is incredible. They are an asset to the NHS.
