What I liked

I recently had to attend the orthopaedic day surgery centre for an arthroscopy. The whole day was very relaxed but with an air of confidence. Both the surgeon and anesthetise spoke with me before the operation to ensure I was fully aware and in agreement of the procedure. The nursing and support staff were all brilliant and encouraged a good banter between the patients. Believe it or not I felt I had had an enjoyable day out and a knee operation to boot. I am now recovering well so well done and thank you to all the team.

What could be improved

Better signs. It was difficult to find the department at 7.00am on a Sunday morning as nobody was about to ask.
