"My daughter"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Emergency Medicine Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter suddenly became unwell whilst we were dining out in Inverurie. At 25 weeks pregnant this was quite alarming . An ambulance was called & she was taken to ARI. I know she was treated with the utmost professionalism & kindness by the staff in A&E but my thanks have to go to the ambulance staff, Dave & Magnus who attended to her & looked after us too! They were excellent & during these times of high Covid figures & unknown procedures they kept us fully informed & reassured. Professional gents indeed. Thankyou!

Dear mamma393

Thank you very much for taking the time to post your feedback here on Careopinion. I am so sorry to read your daughter took unwell while you were dining out. I can fully appreciate how scary this must have been for you all, especially while your daughter is 25 weeks pregnant.

I am thrilled to read about the care given by Dave and Magnus. By the sounds of things, reassurance was given along the way and I am sure this made a real difference to you all. I am also delighted to read you describe their care as excellent and they were professional gents. I would really love to pass on your kind words to Dave and Magnus if that would be ok with you? If you would like me to do this for you, please may I ask you contact our team at sas.feedback@nhs.scot with your daughter's name, location and date of where David and Magnus attended and I will be sure to arrange this for you. Please may I also ask you make referenc to your Careopinion user name which will allow us to link to your story.

Thank you very much once again and all the very best to your daughter.

Kind Regards

Lesley
