I went in to had my dislocated knee looked at. The doctor didn't even look at my knee, and didn't know I had had previous injuries of the same type.
They then tried sending me to the plaster room to change a string on my knee strap that I could have done myself. I feel it was a waste of an appointment and I was given a doctor who I didn't think was qualified.
I have had this injury 3 times before . They didn't know that until I pointed it out and didn't look at my injury.
They told me I had chipped some bones in my knee but then didn't seem to follow the NHS guidelines on knee dislocations.
I will assess what the physio says and I will look to take it further if I feel they have done an inadequate job.
I am disgusted in what the NHS has become.
