"Thank you for all your care and everything you did for our mother."

Thank you to all the staff on Ward 5 stroke ward for their excellent care and compassion towards our mother, and us as a family, following her recent admission following a stroke. Thank you in particular to Dr Keegan for his care and kindness towards us, in communicating everything so clearly, and taking the time to sit with us and explain things

Thank you also to Sr Robinson, all the nurses, and nursing auxiliaries on the ward for their excellent care, and their true kindness shown to us at such a difficult time. In particular we would like to mention Staff Nurse Ryan, whose bright and positive personality, care and kindness, and taking the time to speak with each of us family members really made such an impact on all of us during the 2 weeks our mum was in your care.

To the wider stroke team, including Natasha the SLT, thank you for your support which was invaluable to us as a family. And finally, thank you to Viviene and Claire Ann from the Palliative Care Team for their compassion and care shown to our mother and to us as a family during her time in your care. Until you sit on the other side of health professional/family member do you truly realise the impact you can have on a family during the most difficult time they are facing. We truly want to thank you for all your care and everything you did for our mother and us as a family during those 2 weeks.
